Okay now March (or whomever) might know....

so is the show up to speed now.... is Claire still missing in action??  

And is the guy that was in the wheelchair and the young guy going to be close to finding the place where Claire is being kept??

Yes Ms X, this past Wednesday Jan 5th was a new show.
Opened up a whole new bunch of questions that is for sure.

So how are you liking it so far??

It can drive you crazy in one sense when you don't get the answers you are looking for but then it opens up a whole new can of worms and makes you want to see the next show to see what happens.

I didn't get Kate's story this week.  I mean I can see wanting the toy airplane for sentimental reasons maybe BUT she was in such a tizzy to get it it was a little beyond.  I mean even if Sawyer had succeeded in opening the case the toy airplane would have meant nothing to him and he never would have and he still would not have found out anymore about Kate as her name wasn't on anything in the case not even the envelope the plane was in.
I thought the case must have had her arrest warrant and picture in it that she was so desperate to get the key and open it.  Strange.  There had to be more behind the toy plane.

The producers have said that there are clues and that every thing shown and said has a meaning in this show.  I read on another site that the number of the plane that crashed was 815 and the safety deposit box Kate wanted was 815.
I wonder if the toy plane has a number on it?

I think Shannon and Boone story will be coming up soon.  I can hardly wait to see Hurley's story as he is my fav.

I'm liking it March!!

I enjoy finding out bits and pieces about each character.... it makes it that much more interesting.

I can't stand Shannon.... she is pathetic to me.  Her brother must have different parents!!  

But then.... there are a few things that bother me.... like the fact the plane left from Sydney Australia.... yet there was only one aussie on board??  what is with that??  
And yeah the toy plane.... a bit much.... and then how she shot and wounded each of the guys that were helping her rob the bank.... yeah.... okay!!

But besides that nit-picking, I do like the show.

The asian couple interest me has well.... she seems like she will be a big help to them on the island.... unless she is hiding something.  (the ways she was watching Kate and Jack talk.... hmmmm     )

Just in case you haven't watched all the episodes Ms. X,  the Asian woman understands and can speak english but pretends not to.   Apparently her husband doesn't know she can and she doesn't want him to know I guess.  The only person on the island that knows her secret is the African American guy that has the young son.   Anyways, she was looking strangely at them bcause she was eavesdropping and understanding everything being said but trying to  pretend she didn't.

Ahhhh thanks for that ccubed.... I guess I've missed more episodes than I thought.... I thought when they played 2 hours over again.... that I was caught up.... but apparently not!!

So do we all think Claire is being kept in that underground thing, those two men found??

Hmmm...it would seem that way.  But on the other hand I think they are going to keep Claire missing for a few more episodes and this underground  place is just going to give more unanswered questions.  Does it not look like the same place where the French woman held Sayid captive?

and I'm thinking that french-woman probably is the one that wants Claire's baby??  You guys??

Didn't the french woman say to Sayid that she had a son and that he died on the island?  As soon as Claire was kidnapped I was thinking that it was by the french womans son and that he wasn't really dead.   Any other theories?  
As far as they've shown we're not sure if the guy who kidnapped Claire  is on the french womans side or is part of the others that she has talked about.
That's probably what's so addicting about this show.  Every week you're left with more questions then they answer.

Okay I know the french woman kidnapped Sayid.... and he finally made it back to camp.... (that was after he went off to wonder the island)....  but did they do an episode on Sayid yet??

I know he carries that pic of the arab lady but did I miss this episode has well??   '>

Yes Ccubed I think the guy that took Claire (god I can't even remember his name already    ), anyway I think he could be the french-woman's son who was taken from her years ago and is now with the "others".
The group that the french-woman was with 16 years ago were into research (she had mentioned this to Sayid) so the "others" could still be doing expermintal research and that is why they needed Claire's baby.  I think they were after the baby more than Claire.   Maybe they are doing black market stem cell research. Hummm!

Ms X, yes they did show some of Sayid's story - let's see what I can remember.  He was in his countries army as he told Hurley and one of his job's was to get information out of prisoners, so when he told Sawyer he tortured people before he wasn't lying.  The girl in the picture is someone he knew growing up BUT she was brought in as an informat for the other side and his was required to torture her to try to get information out of her.  He pleaded with her to tell them what they needed to know so they wouldn't have to hurt her but she would not.   After keeping her prisioner for a while they were going to take her somewhere to kill her.  Sayid had to take her - as he was walking her to the door he let her go out a back door and told her to run ( I think he either knew about a truck leaving town that day or made arrangements for her to be on it).  He waited a few minutes then took his gun and shot himself in the leg to make it look like she overtook him and got away.  She had given him her picture so he would always remember her, etc.  Anyway to this day he doesn't know if she is alive or dead.  He doesn't know if what he tried to do for her helped her or if it still got her killed in the end.
We were not shown anymore so we do not know yet how he got out of the army, or if they ever found out what he did, etc. or what he was doing in Australia.

Also, didn't the French woman say on her transmission that they are all dead?  That "it" had killed them?  I'm thinking that the others weren't part of her team but maybe people native to the Island that were already there.  Or a previous group of scientists that had gone there to conduct experiments and  do research.   I do think you are right about Claire being kidnapped more for her baby then herself.

BTW, did you see the episodes for this Wednesdays episodes?  Shannon and her brother Boone (Is that his name?) running from the thing in the forest and Shannon screaming as she is lifted into the air?  I would really like to see what this "creature" is since when Locke seen it he looked up and now Shannon is lifted up.  I hope it's not some big Sci-fi thing because I think writing in something that outrageous would take away from the realness of the show.

You are right - his name is Ethan and he told Hurley he was from Ontario.

I kind of wonder if the people that the french woman said had died are really dead.  She was quite evasive about what happen when Syaid was trying to get information about it from her.
She said something about them getting sick and she killed them but maybe she is the one that got sick and they left her in the jungle to die but she didn't.
I don't know maybe the people she was with actually did die but there certainly are other people on that island as we have seen Ethan and I doubt he was able to take on Claire and Charlie alone - without help.
