Episode 7b: Outcast Tribal Council

RYAN S.: This vote is for Burton. He is beyond deserving. He brought the challenge home for us today and I know he'll represent us well.

Lil, I would never put your name down unless it was for something good. If it's not me, I hope it's you.

TRISH: Burton, I'm voting you back in because I know you can win the individual immunities and I think that, uhm, you have a real shot at winning the whole thing. If I can't win, I want another Outcast member to win. So, good luck buddy, I hope you can do it. I know you can get back in the game.

Lil, I'm voting you back in the game, because I think that you, more than anybody, has... had something major to prove. I know this is extremely important to you and I know that you will work with Burton to get down to the Final 2. You'll do whatever it takes and, uhm, I hope that you both, you and Burton, will get to be in the Final 2. Good luck.

BURTON: Michelle, you're the only person in this game that I've talked to and trusted and you're the only person that's never lied to me. I hope you get a chance to go back in.

Nicole, you're a really strong athlete. They never gave you a chance at the beginning. I hope this is your second chance.

LILL: Ryan, you were my friend from the very beginning. I recognize that you were my only friend from this whole time. You accepted me no matter what and I want you in almost as much as I want to be in and I hope that we can be together. Thank you.

Trish, I've only known you for a very few hours, but the sincerity that came out when you were talking to me and the respect I get from you. I know I'm older than you, but it was nice having someone close to my age to talk to. I hope you get to go back in.

NICOLE: Ryan S., I'm voting for you because I quite honestly think you can easily win this game. I hope that you do.

Lil, my vote's for you. Quite honestly, because if I get... end up getting sent back to camp, I don't want to listen to you complain anymore about not being in the game. That's why I'm voting for you.

MICHELLE: Obvious, though, out of the 16 people here, the most deserving person and the most capable. I think he can go all the way. Good luck, Burton.

Nicole, ah... this is for the underdogs. Ah... I know you're one bad ***** and I know you'll go and get 'em, so... good luck.

Episode 7b (Balboa Tribal Council):

SAVAGE: Little John, you talk too much smack

JON: Ooh yeah. Mr. Macho, Mr. Savage going down! Dig it?

RYNO: [ed. votes for Jon] It's not because I don't like you. I just don't know you that well. It’s too early in the game. I don't know. You're the only one I could vote for. Alright man, see you around.

DARRAH: I'm voting for you tonight, John, because of my alliance. Uhm.. Otherwise, you're a pretty cool guy, but I really haven't gotten to know you that well.

CHRISTA: [ed. votes for Andrew] You are our biggest threat out here. You're such a smooth talker, dude. Bye.

LILL: [ed. votes for Andrew] It's time I stood up for myself. I'm so happy that we (inaudible).... I would have been gone anyway. This is for me standing up. This is for my friend Nicole. And this is for Ryan Shoulders. He does have 110 percent heart.

BURTON: [ed. votes for Andrew] Purely a strategic move to keep my alliance strong and to tear your tribe apart.

SANDRA: [ed. votes for Andrew] I really didn't know you so there's not much I can say about you. Usually, I like to say ugly things, but my alliance wants you gone, so it's time for you to go, you know? Adios.

RUPERT: [ed. votes for Andrew] After the feast, I tried to offer you a deal. It would have got you to six, easy, and maybe more. You would have gotten your three and my three all the way. You tell me no. Then you come back two minutes before this damn council and you tell me: "Okay, I take the deal." I can't change everybody after that. Your own team starting turning on you after that. You're gone man, I'm sorry.

TIJUANA: Johnny Fairplay, this message goes for you. Uh... You came away to our camp and you, uh... stirred things up at the Morgan Tribe. Thereafter, I heard some things about you coming from your tribe. Some say that you're a troublemaker and that you're very manipulative. And when it comes down to it, my tribe thought that you would be the person to go. So, I know it probably won't affect you tonight, but it may sometime in the future.

I'm unbelievably proud to be part of the Morgan tribe, and to rally from losing the first three Immunities to winning the last three to even the score: five Morgan tribemates to five Drake. Cheers to Morgan. Ryan O, D and T, stick it to Drake. Show them what we're made of, and continue to make all of us proud. Cheers to Captain Morgan.
I walk away with, seriously, a great satisfaction that this was the toughest thing I've ever been through. Mentally and physically, hands down, I can take it. I could take it through Day 39, I could take it through Day 69. It's a real test of fortitude and, and, and mental stability. And, uh... Anyone who signs up for this, there's always a question in their minds whether they can hack it, and I know I can. And, uh... it's very comforting to know that.

Episode 8:

SANDRA: Uhm... I'm honestly not even prepared for this. Uhm... Ryno, in the past couple of days that we have been together... uhm, I kind of, you know... I said 'This is a good person right here.' Uhm... But, unfortunately, your def... your defect is that you're strong and uhm... and I just... you know, we just got to send you home, buddy, because... uhm... because the alliance is what decides who goes home. And, and you're just too strong. You're a huge competitor and ... uhm... Good-bye.

RUPERT: [ed. votes for Ryan O.] I'm sorry we weren't on the same team. I know you would've [unintelligible]. I would trade you in for a bunch of my guys. But it's your time to go.

CHRISTA: [ed. votes for Ryan O.You're the rudest, most disrespest.... disrespectful man I have ever met. Uhm. You're so negative.

RYNO: Hey, Christa, didn't like you before, don't like you now. You're so plain. Simply a *****. Uhm... can't really think of anything else to say, but ... uh... see you later.

DARRAH: Ryan, I'm voting for you only so I can leave you a message. Uhm... Thanks for respecting me and having respect that I have a boyfriend. And... thank you also for being a good friend.

JON: [ed. votes for Ryan O.] Gore! Gore! Gore!

TIJUANA: Ryno, this vote goes to you. Uhm... I told you from the very beginning when I first met you that I didn't know if I should trust you or not. And, uh... I was right on. In the end, you betrayed me and our alliance. And with this alliance, you possibly could have gotten further in the game, but you chose not to. In the end, I am sending you this vote with very big smiles. I am glad that you are gone before myself. At the same time, on a personal level, you're a good guy, you've made me laugh and I was glad to get to know you.

BURTON: Ryno, purely a strategic vote, based on my current alliance. But guaranteed, I'd rather you be around longer than some of these idiots I'm stuck with.

LILL: Ryan, I saw a kinder, more caring person in the last 3 days than I did in the whole time that I was with you in the Morgan tribe. I wish I'd seen that a little earlier than just the last 3 days, but I am going to miss you and I thank you for your kindness the last couple times.

Well, huh... Day 24. Uhm... Looks like I got snuffed out by the Drake tribe. Uh, Morgan tribe was kind of down, little bit. Total bummer. I, I thought I'd be in this til the end, but... doesn't look like it. Best of luck to you guys. And you guys got to remember one thing. I'm on the Jury.

Episode 9:

CHRISTA: [ed. votes for Darrah] It's your time to go. You're not part of our Drake tribe and... you're the next one.

TIJUANA: First of all, Rupert, good blessings to you, Laura and Raia and your boys. And this message goes to you... uh... first of all, because you're a threat and... uh... obviously, you have put the Drake tribe members before all of us, including the Morgan tribe members and me and ... ah... we don't have a fair shot in any way, form or fashion. Yourself, Sandra and Christa, you've been very... ah... a little too overconfident the fact that you guys have it in the bag. Uh... But the Drake tribe members came and crawled over and said you guys don't. So, it's your time to go. Again, good blessings to you and I'll see you on the other side.

BURTON: Rupert, our island is not big enough for the two of us and I don't have plans to go anywhere anytime soon.

SANDRA: [ed. votes for Jon] I hate you, I hate you, I hate you. And I know you have it out for me. But guess what? Before I go home, you will be going home.

RUPERT: [ed. votes for Darrah] A Morgan has to go tonight. And the other two work harder than you do.

JON: [ed. votes for Rupert] To be the man, you gotta beat the man. Woo!

DARRAH: Rupert, I'm voting for you because there's no longer a Drake alliance anymore. There's a new alliance and I know you're going to be totally shocked by. Uh... But thanks for the good fish and for thinking nice of me.

LILL: Rupert, I love you dearly. You're the nicest guy around. But in order for me to stay in this game, I need to get rid of the biggest threats. And you, sir, are my biggest threat. Thank you.

I wanted this very badly. I needed this very badly. It is insane how bad I needed this. This would have helped my life, this would have helped a lot of people's lives. This would have made my life a lot better.
I always get hurt trusting people. I want so badly to be accepted and I never get the acceptance that I want. Why shouldn't this be any different?

I don't fit. So much for my dreams.

Episode 10:

SANDRA: [ed. votes for Tijuana] You came to our tribe. You tried to take over... uhm... You tried to delegate what we were going to do, when we were going to do it, how we were going to do it. And frankly, we're sick and tired of you. By the way, Happy Birthday. Uhm... Take care, good-bye, adios.

DARRAH: Burton, I'm voting for you only because you're the biggest threat we have right now and this is the only chance cause you didn't win Immunity. Uhm... Thanks for being a good friend and being respectful... uhm... to T and I for bringing us into the alliance with you to get me further along in the game. Uhm... thanks for the fish and thanks for everything.

CHRISTA: [ed. votes for Tijuana] You're very rude, disrespectful and you like to order people around. And... I just don't want you around anymore.

TIJUANA: Burton, this vote is for you. Not because you're not a good person. Uhm... You're not only a good person, you're a hard worker around camp. Uhm... You raise our spirits and... uhm... we appreciate everything that you've done. Uhm... So it's nothing that is against you personally. It's merely to the fact that you are the strongest player here mentally and physically. On top of that, uhm... as you know, I heard you and Jon talking, along with Darrah. And... uhm... you had a lot of just differences in what you were telling us versus what you told Jon. And it just contradicts our alliance. So, with that being said, this vote is for you. But again, good blessings to you. I hope that in the end, when this is all over, we'll be friends.

LILL: Tijuana, it's a little bit of payback time. You didn't think anything about getting rid of me four weeks ago. You broke our alliance with some wonderful people who saved you. They brought you in and saved you. And now you want to get rid of our main source of food, Burton. I say no. I'm here to protect Burton. I think it's time for you to go.

BURTON: T, I know it's your birthday tomorrow, but I don't think one of us is going to be here to see it. Uhm... A little piece of advice, a day early, for you. Never assume you are in complete control of a situation until you're 100 percent assured.

JON: [ed. votes for Tijuana] Say your prayers and take your vitamins. It's for greatness run wild.

I've learned a lot. I've learned my... uh... what I am willing to do... uh... as far as people are concerned. Uhm, a test to myself, how far can I take things? As far as mentally and physically with all the dynamics of this game. It's definitely hard out here. So, I've learned that when I try my best, I can do it. Uhm... Aside from that, uh... it's very hard dealing with this kind of game. I was sitting there at Tribal Council like, "God, this is such a difficult game," on a personal level, because there are certain things that you wouldn't do outside of the game, that you start to actually contemplate in the game to get you further... Uhm... One of those being wanting to vote off Burton. Uhm... He's a good guy. I think he's a good guy and he deserves to be here before Christa and Sandra. But it was very hard for me to make that decision. So, I've learned in this game and I'm very proud of myself. I think that I'll be a better person as a result of this game and ... uh... I'm happy where I'm at. And... uh... I'll go home, and hopefully, I've learned enough to share with other people and ... uh... hopefully, live a better life.
Definitely a long journey, but so worth it. Uh... I wish I had it even longer, but I don't. Uhm... I think that trying to take a step up and try to make things work to my advantage and take that leadership role, I think cost me the game. Uh... But that's okay. Uhm... It was a high risk and I knew that it was. Uh... I hoped to try to get other people involved, so that I wouldn't be an ultimate target. But I think in retrospect, I still was. Uhm... as I definitely was the messenger for most people, for the remaining tribe members. But that's okay, that's the risk that I took. It nipped me in the bud, but it's all right.

I think what surprised me most... uhm... first of all, just the dynamics to the game, from the rain, to the wind, to the cool nights, not being able to sleep at night, then have to get up the next day and do a challenge... uhm... to people that have attitudes with you, uh... for people who support you and people that you care about that ultimately, do they really care about you? Uhm... there's just so many dynamics to this game and it makes it that much more tougher. Uhm... Coupled with the fact that it's all in one day or 39 days, it's not, you know, over the course of a lifetime. All of these elements come down in a matter of days and you have to live with these people, people that you don't know. There's just so many different dynamics to this game that make it truly one of the toughest things I've ever experienced. Truly the toughest outside of my mother's death. Uhm... so, with that being said, that surprises me, uhm... but it surprises me even more to feel like I was able to go through it and continue to have, try to have a positive attitude. I mean, I've had some bad days out here... uhm... I definitely having been one to be ... uhm... the most to get along at times. But I think, overall, I still had a positive attitude and I've tried to support not only myself, but others. And uh... I don't know. It shows I can still do everything I can put my mind to. And I did it here. And I'm happy about that.

It definitely is a reflection being here of all the dynamics that you have on life experiences from, you know, from people who don't get along to other people that argue to maybe it's someone who doesn't like you for your skin color. All of these different things, coupled with the fact that you have to deal with trying to find food and shelter. Uhm... The elements that are out here. It's all compressed into 39 days, coupled with the fact that you can't get away. Yeah, you can get away for a little bit, walk down the beach, but then you have to come right back. And you can't go for too long because now who knows what's happening while you're gone. Uhm... so it definitely is compressed all of your life experiences, and alll the positive, more so than the negative things, compressed into 39 days. And it makes it that much more tough, it makes it that much more... uhm... of a challenge. But at the same time, it makes it that much more rewarding.

I've always respected and loved my family, so that's not something that would be heightened in any regard. It will continue to be the same. I'll try to do more things with them.
