I know it's late, but I just came looking in this forum for an explanation of where LT and Scarlett have been.

Whatever's happening, LT, I'm thinking of you and I hope things improve soon.

Ok...had a few minutes to check in and decided that our friends here in this family needed to know that Scarlett needs your prayers.  She wasn't feeling well for quite a few weeks and suddenly took a nose dive.  After several tests it was discovered that she has colon cancer.  Surgery was performed and about 18" of her colon had to be removed along with 2 fairly large softball size tumors.  The doctors assured the family that all cancer was "gotten".  Ofcourse now we are going through more extensive testing to see if it is anywhere else in her body.  And, there will be 6 months of chemo therapy.  We are all trying to stay upbeat and brave and trust that everyone envolved in her therapy and procedures are capable and knowledgeable and brilliant.
   She has been very brave and I am more than proud of her.  Then again, I'm her twin......what did you expect me to say.  She's my hero.

  We would appreciate all the prayers we can get.  I will drop in from time to time to update her progress.  Thanks guys.

Hi everyone,

It is so wonderful to hear all the nice prayers going up to the "big" GUY for me.  But I never expected anything else from such a classy bunch as you all are.

I promise to fight as hard as I can to try to beat this "monster" that wormed himself into my life.  The Lord has given me a mountain to climb but I am bringing out my "Lionslady claws" and hanging on until I get to the top.

I am not near ready to stop posting in this site.

Again..........I won't be posting much as I don't know yet what effect the chemo will have on me but just wanted to say thank you again for  your kind words everyone and I will check in as often as I can.  Much love to  you all.
