Just thought I'd point out that Stephen's voting comment this week was the dorkiest and best thing ever.  '<img'>

It also seems to foreshadow Stephen's need to take out JT before the Final 2, doesn't it?

He's said it before, even to JT's face: "It's for a million dollars!"

Just think of the pressure a student loan to attend Harvard (just supposing) can put on a person....

That said, I'm curious to see how he patches things up with JT after this TC. JT may feel he has to squash Stephen just the way he (may have) squashed the bug that was crawling up his shoulder at TC. (Did you notice? I wonder if they had to edit out a bit of bug flinching? Or maybe JT didn't even bother with it. He strikes me as being bug-flinch proof...)

And maybe this White Wizard reference came from part of Coach's poem that was edited out? Unless Coach was calling Stephen that around camp, it seems odd that both of them would reference it that way. (See Coach's final words.)

Yeah, Coach called Stephen the "Wizard" back when they merged. If you'll remember that when Stephen voted Brendan, he did the "This is my wizard lightning, sending you back home. Kapow!!" bit, so it seems to be nothing new. It also seems like JT knew Coach was going, too.

JT knew Stephen was voting for Coach, or he at least suspected it, and I suspect he was fine with it.  In fact, I think some of JT's comments during his discussion with Stephen were meant to encourage Stephen to vote for Coach without his actually telling Stephen to vote for him.  He realized that only the three votes were necessary, thus he didn't have to appear to betray Coach.

Exactly right, rose, and it also illustrates how JT was not just dependent upon Stephen for strategy, and was able to get a jump on his best ally.

The beauty of the move proved to be that Coach would never see it as a purely strategic move, even when JT sort of admitted it during the final jury. Instead, by bringing along the 'stronger' competitor, Stephen, JT solidified his reputation with Coach as the worthy warrior.
