Am I the only person who is thinking "Huge target, one of the first out"?

Maybe, but if I'm out there and looking for targets, I'm looking at A. taking out the "Micronesia crew", B. taking out Cirie, and C. taking out the guy who nobody knows, because if he's there and a villain before his season even aired, then I'm thinking "he must be capable of some crazy s---".

I agree that Cirie's got the biggest target on her back on her tribe, but I'm thinking for the villains, it's going to be Rob.  Russell?  Historically, All Stars whose seasons did not air prior to filming have been lower on the radar.  Amanda, James and Rupert all made it to the jury.  I'm not sure how long Russell can keep from telling everybody that he's the best player ever, but I'm thinking they'll go for the devil they know to start with.

After all, who else is there?  Most of the women will be viewed as coat-tailers, Coach is an easy pawn, Tyson and Randy didn't finish particularly high on their season....  Sandra and Parvati might be targeted for winning, but Rob is the only one who's credited for running the show in his previous appearance (and Russell, but again, they don't know that and may not believe his claims if he tells them).

That said, both Danielle and Russell have said that they want to align with Rob, so maybe I'm wrong.  Granted, in Russell's case, he's likely to change his mind on a dime anyway.  I do think that Rob's got his work cut out for him if he wants to get anywhere in this game.

Rob rocks! So does Russell.  Without betraying my hero (picture d at bottom - yeah I mean Tom) I think Russell rocked and is a favorite of mine, along with Boston Rob.  Those two will either work well together as they prob think alike, or are too similar therefore one will be terminated. I would personally like Russell to win - Tom would be nice, but he doesnt sound like he was to into being there this time.  I think Danielle is too dumb for Rob to keep -dumb is unpredictable except being dumb.  

My hopes for the final 4 would be

Thats right, the women blow I think.  Parvati I dont like but of all the women there she actually "plays" the game - so good for her, Cirie too.

Omg, if you haven't seen this Rob video yet, do it, now. I'm still trembling.  '> It's at the end of this Dalton Ross story. Rob's so everything, lol, in it he says "within the villain lies the true hero." Got that right! He also says that he'd had 5 weeks listening to his lil baby girl cry, so he's ready for the cry babies, ha!

When I interviewed Boston Rob Mariano in Panama right before the All-Stars season kicked off, he told me to save the tape in my recorder as evidence because he was guaranteeing me right then and there that he was going to win. Pretty bold words from a guy that didn’t even make the jury his first time around in Marquesas. But he backed it up. Technically, the victory went to his now-wife Amber, but that was just due to a bitter jury that couldn’t handle being bested by the cocky Bostonian. Rob claimed he would run the game, and he did.

So it was no surprise when he busted out the same bravado for our pre-game chat before Heroes Vs. Villains (premiering Feb. 11 on CBS). The entire time was basically him coming up with different ways to convince me how dominant he was going to be once again. It’s the type of thing you’d normally shrug off, but not only did he follow through on it before, but he also would have won the Amazing Race had producers not convinced the pilot of a plane that had already departed the gate to come back to pick up Uchenna and Joyce. [Intel on a potentially huge distraction for Boston Rob, as well as exclusive on location video after the jump.]

Rob knows he’s a target for the way he ran All-Stars, but is confident he can overcome it. “I’m under no false impression that a lot of these people are probably pretty jealous that myself and my wife got to do not only Survivor but the Amazing Race twice each,” he told me in Samoa. “And now I’m back again. I’m sure there’s an air of arrogance among some of them that say ‘get him the hell out of here,’ but let me tell ya something, at the end of the day, they won’t be able to do it. They won’t be able to write my name down. After 20 seasons you’d think they’d know enough to get rid of me. But they won’t.”

We’ll see about that, but I have another concern about Rob this time around: his baby. Rob and Amber had a baby girl just 5 weeks before he left for Samoa. How focused will he be on the game with a newborn at home halfway around the world? We saw Jonny Fairplay quit Micronesia just a few days in over concern for his unborn daughter. How will Rob react? “I don’t think it’s gonna be as much of a distraction as its gonna be a motivator for me. Something where I’m really gonna have to dig down inside and know inside of myself what it is that I’m playing for.” I could never see Boston Rob quitting anything, but we’ll see if he’s as focused as he was last time around.

Having never seen Rob in action, I'm very interested in how this will turn out. (I vaguely remember something of LAmber from her season, but that was before I was really following the series closely.)

Hope he lasts longer than JFP. Still, I don't think you can win with a manipulating style in a season where all the players are expecting it?
