David Murphy: I'm Going to Have to Bring Myself Down to Their Level

I don't watch any sports except Nascar.  My husband hates survivor because I yell and scream and jump up and down during each show.

He admits he never watched an episode of Survivor until he was chosen to be on the show, then he watched 11 seasons in six weeks to prepare himself.

LA Times:
The young and single lawyer said his friends and family weren’t really surprised that he was doing a reality show, although they were surprised that it was “Survivor,” but he hasn’t heard any negative feedback.

“It’s not something I’d do. … I don’t really like camping or sleeping on the floor,” he said. “It’s so far removed from my life.”

In addition to a “fairly strict” diet and a private trainer, Murphy read “The Art of War” and “How to Win Friends and Influence People” for preparation before departing for the shores of Nicaragua.

Thanks ma'am, great article! From this, it's sounding more, and more like a recruit who crammed down the show to me, how about you?

I chuckle everytime I looked upon his striped attired, and it's so funny because he's the attorney who's always putting others in the stripes.

I betcha that was why the stripes were selected for him too. That's pretty twisted

LOL.... No question in my mind he's a recruit.  But I'll forgive him for never having watched even one episode of Survivor before being called for this gig if he gives Russell just a little bit of a hard time out there. 

He's definitley into the whole Survivor thing now, though, hook, line and sinker.... I noticed on his facebook page he's in a relationship with Carolina Eastwood.

Yes, indeedy.... They post a lot back and forth and they have each other listed as "in a relationship with".
