The strategies and choices made in tonight’s episode all made sense . . . except Tarzan’s vote to boot Lief!! Why, why, why? There is no scenario I can imagine in which that vote would have served any purpose. If Tarzan was threatened by Kim & Co. to vote in harmony with them, he was downright stupid to comply. How can he not clearly see the writing on the wall? He is just as destined to become a juror as is Troyzan if neither of them wins immunity in the next round. Does Tarzan think he is this season’s Final-Three “Goat,” who will be brought along to make the jury vote a landslide for someone like Kim or Chelsea? For that to happen, the girls would have to start voting off other girls, and all hell would break loose if they did. Maybe it’s time Tarzan started using that “superior” intellect he wants us all to believe he has.

I understand the decision of Christina and Alicia to cast their lot with the girls, as much as I disagree with their apparent belief that this would propel them to the final three. That fantasy destroyed their chance to, at least, be among the final five had they gone with Troyzan. Congratulations to Lief who, along with Troyzan, made one final intelligent vote on his way out the door –to oust Kim. But, sorry, Lief, too little too late.

I have no words of comfort for Christina and Alicia. They chose to hang tight with “girl power,” which is good news for Kim, but will only delay their inevitable departure. As much as they may find Troyzan’s trash-talking grating, his logic is undeniable. They have to “kill” the head of the snake, the player who is calling all the shots – Kim – if they expect to have any chance of making it to the end. Christina and Alicia have been on the outs with the girls since the beginning of the game, and they have to know that in their gut. They are just whistling by the graveyard now.

I think Tarzan voted for Lief because he felt the girls alliance was either going for himself or Lief.  The only chance for Tarzan to stay in the game was to vote Lief or Kim off, and the Kim vote was dependent on Christina and Alicia joining the men to be successful.  Christina and Alicia gave no assurances they would vote Kim off, so Lief was the obvious choice if Tarzan was going to protect himself.

Yeah, pretty much. I figured he voted Leif because he sensed Christina and Alicia had no spines, so...lol. And look at it this way, if he hadn't have voted Leif, it's possible he could've gone in the re-vote.

I'm pretty sure that Tarzan and Alicia have a little thing going.  It probably won't come to anything, since it's not getting featured, but things they've said here and there make me confident that they plan on taking each other to final three.  Who their third is, I'm not sure, but I bet Alicia thinks Tarzan's her swing vote to get the majority and pull off a coup at the endgame.  If I had to guess, I'd say that Alicia expects she can get Kat to vote how she wants and will be proved wrong.
