Coulda', Woulda', Shoulda'

Now that we have a better idea how this season's game has unfolded till the merge, any coulda', woulda', shoulda' situations that you have seen right from the start?
I think looking at the original Manono made of all guys, the best bet would have been to get rid of Colton. I think he was a virus in this game and the men could have used a younger crowd going further into the game. Right now, it seems as though we're reliving Vanuatu where the older male crowd felt threatened by the younger crowd (in this season, they just got lead by Colton to vote Matt and Bill out) and votes them out.
Salani-wise, I think they are actually doing a pretty good job. I agreed with their pre-merge boots as well, and seeing how they never made it to tribal council since the swap, they are doing something right to get them further into the game.
Any thoughts? Figured it would be good to get different perspectives too.

Without doubt the guys giving up immunity was the SINGLE move that really changed this game and made it unfold this way. It was a complete mistake. Maybe the same thing would have happened more or less but I doubt it. Bill stays in the game and a girl is gone (probably Alicia based on how they were talking) and things are just different. Less women to get this monopoly. Still, hard to say but that was HUGE.

How could I have forgotten that boneheaded move?
That is probably true. Colton wouldn't have found such a willing ally perhaps, on swapped Manono and for all we know, Leif could have gone instead of Monica that first tribal post-swap. But yes, I do agree with you on the immunity surrender.

Yes, I so wholeheartedly agree that was completely idiotic! But I think the biggest coulda' shoulda' woulda' was not taking advantage of the freedom that One World offered them right out of the gate! For the first time, they had the ability to set any type of rules, living conditions, etc... right in the palms of their hands, and they blew it all to hell by sticking with the Survivor core rules.

I agree Dani, the producers set them up to re-invent the wheel, and they used the wooden wheels for fire wood!
